Synopsis:
When a college senior joins a secret fraternity in order to better his chances of getting into Harvard Law School, he doesn't realize that he has entered into a potentially life-threatening situation. Joshua Jackson stars as Luke McNamara, the unfortunate student who unknowingly stumbles into the dangerous underground group. As Luke struggles to come to terms with a series of traumatic events--including his best friend's suicide--he must stop the powers-that-be from wreaking any more havoc before it's too late. Josh's role:
Josh plays Luke McNamara, a senior at an ivy league school, who is trying to make his way through college and hopefully into Harvard's Law School. We learn that Luke is from a blue collar background and works in the school's cafeteria to help pay for his education. One of the many things initially keeping Luke in school is his membership on the school's crewing team. The team is very successful and this catches the eye of The Skulls. The Skulls being a "secret" brotherhood on campus that breeds future politicians and the like. Luke is at first seduced by the power and priveledge but soon learns through a series of events, including the faked suicide of his best friend, that there is always a price. With the help of his friend Chloe and a senator inside The Skulls, Luke earns his freedom from the brotherhood and gets his life back.
