SYNOPSIS
The story of an abandoned baby zebra (Muniz) that grows up believing he's a racehorse. With the help of barnyard friends and teenage girl who dreams of being a jockey, he overcomes prejudice and self-doubt to pursue his dream of running with thoroughbreds.
JOSH'S ROLE
Josh plays Trenton's Pride, one of the thoroughbreds who is mean to Stripes.
PRODUCTION NOTES
Production was from September 15, 2003 to December 20 2003. The live action aspects of the movie was filmed in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California and Pietermaritzburg, South Africa.
INTERESTING TIDBITS
- The Shetland pony, Tucker (Dustin Hoffman), had to be painted brown during filming because his real coat turned gray for the winter. Everyone was so surprised, but the animal trainers did a little touch-up with brown dye.
