More Reshoots for "Cursed"
According to MovieHole.Net:
Craven for Wes Craven's newie? Well, you'll have to wait for it a little longer - word is more reshoots start on the film this week.
All the cast have to be reassembled to reshoot the finale, which has to be tweaked
apparently. Funnily enough, lead star Christina Ricci has lost a considerable amount of weight since the film first started up - and now she's as thin as a wafer. Doesn't help that she's also cut her hair in recent times. But nothing that can't be fixed in Post.
Also on the film, word is they're going to use all those deleted scenes (i.e scenes that were shot for the first version of the film) for a sequel - I kid you not. "Cursed 2" is rumoured to be cut stuff from the first film with a little bit of new stuff mixed in.
At the end of the day though, the movie is supposed to be great- -impressing the heck
out of everyone that's previewed it. We can't wait!!!

Josh slated for "The Frog King"
Thanks to Maya for posting this tidbit on the board:
Bret Easton Ellis described "The Frog King" as "the funniest young-guy-in-New York novel since 'Bright Lights, Big City.'" Ellis has since completed the screenplay for a film adaptation of the novel, in which Joshua Jackson ("Cruel Intentions," "Dawson's Creek") is slated to play the male lead.

Josh on Stage?
According to Whatsonstage.com:
Dawson's Creek's Joshua Jackson could be the latest in a line of young Hollywood stars to make their West End debuts. Jackson has been in talks with Out of the Blue Productions about starring in a London play in late autumn 2004. Out of the Blue has previously been responsible for the West End debuts of many Hollywood young guns, not least Jake Gyllenhaal and Matt Damon in This Is Our Youth, and earlier this year, Julia Stiles and Aaron Eckhart in David Mamet's Oleanna. Jackson - best known for playing bad boy Pacey for six years in US television's Dawson's Creek, which finished in 2003 - has appeared on the big screen in Cruel Intentions, Scream 2 and The Laramie Project and will soon be seen in Cursed with Christina Ricci and Shadow Dancer with Harvey Keitel. In case you're wondering about Jackson's pulling power in theatreland, apparently when he attended Out of the Blue's Oleanna at the Garrick this summer, he was mobbed by screaming women and had to be rescued by the theatre management.
Thanks to Dannie for the news!
