The Hollywood Reporter has posted an article in relation to the upcoming television upfront presentations.

Over at Fox, J.J. Abrams "Fringe" looks like a lock after an enthusiastic response from the network's brass during the weekend. Fox already has given its blessing for staffing to begin on the Warner Bros. TV-produced sci-fi drama.

"Fringe," which has the scope of Abrams' "Lost," is rumored for a fall launch as a key weapon in Fox's effort to shake off its fourth-quarter ratings blues. It could be paired with "Prison Break" or "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles."

"GasHole" screening this week

According to SignOnSanDeigo.com, Josh is involved with the documentary "GasHole". It is screening this week in San Deigo and if you go to the official site you can learn more about it and future screenings.

The documentary, narrated by actor Peter Gallagher, examines the history of oil, oil prices and the future of alternative fuels. It features interviews with U.S. Department of Energy officials, democrat and republican congressional leaders, alternative fuel producers, alternative fuel consumers (such as actor Joshua Jackson from "Dawson's Creek" and "Shutter"), etc.

A Night at the Opera

Josh and Diane attended the Metropolitan Opera "La Fille Du Regiment" Opening Night. InStyle has a little blurb about them being at the party.

"I'll have the best dressed elbow in all of these pictures," joked Joshua Jackson, predicting that photographers were only after shots of girlfriend Diane Kruger. Once the flashbulbs had dimmed, the couple sat down to dinner, chatting with tablemates Naomi Campbell and YSL creative director Stefano Pilati. How did the beautiful Kruger decide upon which dress to don for the evening? "I was lucky, Stefano designed this especially for me," the German stunner gushed.

Another version of Battle trailer

Another version of the Battle in Seattle trailer, the major difference is there are no French subtitles...

No 'Fletch' for Josh and French Trailer for "Battle"

According to the MTV Movie Blog, Josh has recently confirmed that he will not be in the new Fletch movie.

Namely, he said, the way the rights to the character have continued to shift among different producers. The off-shoot of this, of course, is that one time or another everyone from Zach Braff, to Jason Lee, to John Krasinski has been attached. Jackson doesn't know who it'll ultimately be, but it won't be him, he insisted.

"In the way that rights are assigned in this business, when it didn't happen last summer, I think the rights went back to different person," he said. "So the guy that offered me the job, I don't think owns it anymore, which is unfortunate."

(March 18, 2008- Los Angeles, CA) - Lakeshore Records will release the original motion
picture soundtrack for SHUTTER via iTunes March 25th. The album contains original music
by Nathan Barr (HOSTEL, THE DUKES OF HAZZARD).

Nathan Barr began studying music in Tokyo, Japan at the age of four. He grew up
surrounded by eclectic music ranging from Kabuki Theater, to the sounds of his mother
performing on the koto and piano, to his father playing the banjo, guitar, and
shakuhachi. His interest in music was further influenced by extensive travels around the
world, where he experienced music ranging from Bali's Kecak Orchestras to China's Beijing
Opera. During the summer of 1993, he toured Italy and Switzerland with the Juilliard
Cello Ensemble. Upon graduating from college, he joined the industrial alternative rock
group V.A.S.T. (Elektra Records) for a short time, playing guitar and electric cello.

Looking to explore a career in film music, he moved to Los Angeles in 1996, and worked as
Academy Award-winning film composer Hans Zimmer's assistant. In 1998 Nathan landed his
first feature HAIRSTRUCK and has been working constantly ever since on such films as
HOSTEL and HOSTEL: PART II, THE DUKES OF HAZZARD, and BEERFEST. His upcoming projects
include TORTURED and THE SLAMMIN' SALMON.

From the executive producers of THE GRUDGE and THE RING comes SHUTTER, a remake of the
Thai chiller. A newly married couple discovers disturbing, ghostly images in photographs
they develop after a tragic accident. Fearing the manifestations may be connected, they
investigate and learn that some mysteries are better left unsolved.

20th Century Fox presents SHUTTER in theaters on March 21, 2008. The Lakeshore Records
recording will be available on iTunes on March 25, 2008.
